Mario Power Tennis is the second instalment in the New Play Control! Series.
It is a remake of the original Mario Power Tennis for the Nintendo
GameCube, under the NEW PLAY CONTROL! series, where the game is adapted
to use Wii features. In this case the game uses the Wii Remote controls
and speaker.
The player can choose from a range of characters from the Mario
franchise and either play regular tennis matches or tennis-themed
mini-games. Playing through the Tournament mode in both Single and
Doubles matches allows the player to unlock a variety of new
characters, extra mini-games and courts as well as the challenging Star
Tournament.
