What does Region-Free mean?

Various parts of the world are broken up into “regions” divided by numerical codes. The idea of separating the world into regions is that manufacturers can produce products which will only work in a particular part of the world. The term "Region Free" refers to a game that can be played anywhere in the world, on a console from any region.

The Formula 1 franchise from Codemasters returns with all new and improved engine and improvements over the previous game from 2010. The key features that gamers have been asking for have been answered, with safety cars and split screen mode among the barrage of improvements in F1 2011.

F1 2011 features all 12 teams and 24 drivers from the official Formula 1 2011 season. The entire calendar of 20 circuits is available to race on, including the new Buddh International Circuit in India.

Formula 1 2011 also includes new modes such as "Be the Driver, Live the Life, Go and Compete".
