What does Region-Free mean?
Various
parts of the world are broken up into
“regions” divided by numerical codes. The idea of separating the world
into regions is that manufacturers can produce products which will only
work in a particular part of the world. The term "Region Free" refers
to a game that can be played anywhere in the world, on a console from
any region.
Continuing with the tales of bravery and confrontation in battle, this
eighth entry in the Call of Duty franchise (in addition to an
action-adventure spin-off from Sledgehammer Games) is due out in 2011.
